Kindle Fire Issue Skreech July 17, 2015 13:38 Follow Install failed on Kindle Fire again. Have more questions? Submit a request Comments Skreech July 27, 2012 08:40 Hi Walter, I am really sorry, but we haven't done any testing on the Fire as of yet; however, I'm confident that the HTML versions of our apps would certainly run on a Fire. The Fire is fundamentally an Android device, but I don't think they have access to the Google Play Android store. Unfortunately I can't say for certain as we haven't done the testing. Skreech August 01, 2012 16:14 Hi Walter, As a quick suggestion, if you add "h." before your app's URL, you can force the device to load the HTML5 version of the app instead of trying to install the Android version. That's normally not necessary to do, as we auto-sniff the kind of operating system you're using, but if you are having issues with the Fire then this should work for you. So instead of: http://theapp.mobi/yourappname use: http://h.theapp.mobi/yourappname In the mean time we're going to look into how we can extend our coverage to include Amazon's Fire tablets. Thanks for raising this.
